Hunt wild boar, pheasant and partridge in the spectacular Umbrian countryside in Italy.
Wild Boar Hunting
Wild boar hunting takes place in a mountainous area of around 250 acres that is covered in forest and scrub. You will use rifles (usually Benelli or Franchi) to shoot the boar, which are flushed out of the forest using a pack of traditional Italian boar dogs. Each hunter shoots from a stand and it takes a cool head and a good shot to drop a hard-running wild boar. Hunting wild boar is exciting, challenging and a real adrenaline rush.
Pheasant & Partridge Hunting
With Pettino Hunting Outfitters you can hunt pheasant and partridge in the open countryside in an area covering more than 7500 acres on both farmland and high mountain pastures. You can use Beretta 12 or 20 gauge shotguns. The dogs point to the birds among the juniper and shrubs allowing a few seconds to line up the shot.
